Throughout every step of the wine making process, you will be guided by wineUdesign’s expert winemakers. You will learn all about the different varieties of grapes, their unique characteristics, and what their flavor profiles will bring to your vintage. After selecting your grapes, you will crush them to release their juices, so the fermentation process can begin.
A week later, you will return to push the fermented mix through our press and into your private barrel where your wine will age over the next few months. After the winery “racks” your wine, which involves the liquid portion of the wine being carefully removed from its fermentation barrel and placed in a clean barrel, you will have the opportunity to taste your creation to check on its progress. Your wine will then be left to age for a few more months before you will return once again to fill, cork, and label your own bottles.
